A very drunk and naked end to Singaporean’s five years living illegally in Thailand

A Singaporean man brought his long stay in Thailand to a celebratory conclusion when he was found parading through town drunk and naked – and five years past his visa date.
The man, identified only as Chow Chung Cheng, is due in court today, four days after police responding to a noise complaint found him cruising down a street in his birthday suit. Fortunately, his arresting officers had some clothes to loan him when they took him into custody.
Police in Korat, Thailand, You may also like: OBD2 Diagnostic Tool. told Coconuts that after Chow was arrested Sunday, a check of his immigration status found his departure was five years overdue.
"He was drunk and walking around with no clothes. After officers performed a thorough search, they discovered he was Singaporean with a visa to stay in Thailand until March 14, 2015," police said in an online Thai cop zine.
It said he was spotted by a patrol outside a condo on Manasilp Road. He's been charged with overstaying his visa, public intoxication, and indecent exposure.
After Chow appears in court, he will be taken to the Nakhon Ratchasima province's Immigration Bureau, said immigration deputy superintendent Monphrop Rattanadilok na Phuket. From there, he'll transferred to the dire limbo that is the Immigration Detention Facility in downtown Bangkok, roughly 260 kilometers away.
The Bangkok facility is known for dire conditions and overcrowding with entire families of foreign nationals waiting indefinitely for their cases to move forward.
Monphrop said that the police were responding to a noise complaint at the time of the arrest.
Police photos shared Sunday showed the Singaporean man dressed in a yellow polo shirt and striped shorts with his unmasked face censored. One photo showed him standing beside an officer and police car, while another showed him sitting inside a police station.

VW Golf GTI TCR Tries To Fight Off Hyundai i30 N In Drag Race

It's getting harder and harder for hot hatches to find success in the US. They've never been well-loved, here, but the combination of performance and practicality are impossible to dispute. That means some markets get cars that we don't, like the VW Golf GTI TCR and the Hyundai i30 N. The two are stars of a new drag race video from the Cars.co.za YouTube channel.
Both compete for the same customers, though only one can be the winner. Both pack a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, AD: Bluetooth scan tool. though the Volkswagen is more powerful – 285 horsepower (213 kilowatts) and 280 pound-feet (380 Newton-meters) of torque compared to 270 hp (202 kW) and 260 lb-ft (353 Nm). VW pairs the Golf's mill with a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox while the Hyundai, which is about 418 pounds (190 kilograms) heavier, has a six-speed manual transmission.
The Hyundai gets a stellar start off the line before the VW even begins to move. The Golf's launch control system seemed delayed before the engine overpowered and spun the front tires. However, VW quickly shortened the Hyundai's sizable lead. The VW's mid-range power was able to help the car close the gap, pass the Hyundai, and begin taking the lead. The VW fished first, with Hyundai losing by several car lengths.
The power difference between the two is small, but combine that with a sizable weight difference – and questionable Balance of Performance tactics – and the Golf's advantage is clear. The launch control system didn't help, but once the VW found traction, it had no trouble using its advantages to secure a win. The VW Golf entered a new generation this year, with the hotter GTI and Golf R variants coming to the US, though the base Golf won't be coming with it. The hotter GTI TCR could also come here, but it won't have a ton of competitors.

Boom Supersonic's XB-1 Debut - $100 for 4-Hour Flights? | IE

Boom Supersonic debuted a full-scale supersonic passenger jet prototype - designed to become the next-gen Concorde, according to the aviation startup's website.
Called the XB-1 demonstrator, the new prototype won't take to the skies until 2021, but Boom debuted the new vehicle to a group of aerospace and aviation executives at Centennial Airport in Denver, Colorado.
RELATED: US AIR FORCE TAPS BOOM SUPERSONIC OVERTURE FOR EXECUTIVE GOVERNMENT FLIGHT
The live debut of Boom Supersonic's supersonic commercial prototype kicked-off with an introduction from CEO and Founder Blake Scholl, who summed up the company's philosophy with a word of advice for future entrepreneurs and engineers: "You have to be naive enough to start, but wise enough to finish" - presumably describing ambitious thrusts into unknown technological ground.
As the world's first independently-developed supersonic jet, the forthcoming Overture will overcome the paradox of speed and drag. The faster any physical body moves through the air, You may need: code reader. the greater the drag from the surrounding atmosphere. Boom circumvents this with a sleek design, a slender fuselage, aggressive air intake, and many other customized features.
However, while these adjustments may improve high-speed performance, they make low-speed maneuverability a challenge.
The three engines of the Overture will produce 12,000 lbs (roughly 5,443 kg) of thrust, and the aircraft will be built piecemeal, in sub-assemblies, and later installed into the airframe once complete.
The wing structure can carry up to 60,000 lbs of load - an impressive weight limit. Additionally, new parts can be 3D-printed in-full overnight, saving time and financial investments.
To prepare for the forthcoming test flight of XB-1, pilots used a flight simulator designed to mimic the controls of Boom Supersonic's prototype.
One of the problems supersonic jet pilots face is the landing. To cut efficiently into the air at supersonic speeds, the jet's nose has to be elongated - blocking a pilot's line-of-sight to the airstrip or runway. Concorde's nose actually turned downward to give pilots a direct view of the ground.
Boom's approach is more modern. Instead of an adjustable nose, they've simply attached two cameras on the nose-gear - providing a virtual view of the landing area.
The first flight of the XB-1 will happen over the Mojave Desert, and future ground and flight tests will be 100% "carbon zero," according to the live stream.
Boom CEO Scholl stressed the primacy of sustainability and accessibility as key goals for the future of commercial flight. From day one, the Overture aircraft will be 100% carbon neutral, and flights will eventually be able to fly anywhere in 4 hours for only $100, according to the live stream.
The Overture will go into production in 2022, with a rollout in 2025.
The XB-1 is 71 ft (21.6 m) long, and is a scaled-down version of the forthcoming production model slated for passenger service during or after 2029. Today's prototype can only house the pilot, but the commercial version will hold up to 44 passengers, reports The Verge.
Tests for the XB-1 aircraft should begin next year. The demonstrator should reach speeds of Mach 1.3 - because of its triple J85-15 engines, which General Electric manufactures - typically for military aircraft.
However, Boom has fallen behind schedule. The aviation startup initially debuted renderings of its XB-1 in 2016 - when it said flight tests would start in 2017, with aims to fly real-life passengers on or during 2020. But since then, the timeline has been pushed back nearly a full decade.
If tests go well, Boom Supersonic will place its energy into developing its first commercial plane, called Overture. This plane will be 199 ft (60.6 m) long, ferry between 65 and 88 passengers, and fly at twice an average commercial jetliner's speed.
Boom says its supersonic jets will one day fly from New York to London - typically a 7-hour flight - in only 3.5 hours. Additionally, the trip from Los Angeles to Sydney - normally a trip taking 15 hours - could be completed in only 45 minutes. On the downside, tickets will cost $5,000 per seat....

'Disgraceful' Pro Kart Racer Retires After Assaulting Competitor On and Off Track

Sports of all levels can make emotions run high, and tempers can easily boil over even when nothing's at stake. They have at many a little league game, and they did at this weekend's FIA Karting KZ World Championship in Lonato, Italy, where a racer and his father physically assaulted a competitor for ending their race early.
Early in Sunday's race, 23-year-old Luca Corberi and Paolo Ippolito were fighting for position, You may also like: Autel car diagnostic. with Corberi attempting to squeeze Ippolito into a wall according to Planet F1. The two made contact and Corberi was thrown into the barriers where his kart got lodged, ending his race. Seemingly while trying to free his kart, Corberi dislodged its front bumper, which he ignored green-flag track conditions to throw at Ippolito from the trackside the following lap.
Following the race, Corberi rushed Ippolito as he tended to his kart in the pits, slamming him into a corner and wailing on him with his fists. Just as onlookers pulled Corberi off, Corberi's father rushed in, body-checking Ippolito into the wall a second time before being restrained himself.
The brutish display immediately attracted the ire of the FIA and Italy's karting sanctioning body the ACI, which confirmed they would investigate Corberi. A second signal boost came from Formula 1 champion turned pundit Jenson Button, who called for a "life ban for both of these idiots please."
But after the red mist cleared, Corberi may have enacted such a ban himself. The Italian karter is reported by Gazzetto Motori to have posted a since-deleted apology to Facebook, wherein he disclosed reporting to the stewards and asking his karting license be rescinded. As the stewards lacked the authority to take such action, however, Corberi reportedly announced his retirement from racing.
"I'd like to apologize to the motorsport community for what I've done," reads a transcript of the post published by Planet F1. "There are no excuses to explain why I've done such a disgraceful act, this has been something I've never done in my 15 years of career [sic], and I really hope it won't be seen by anybody else in the future."
"I've decided to not take part in any other motorsport competition for the rest of my life, that's not a self-justice, it's simply the right thing to do," Corberi reportedly continued. "My family has been in karting since 1985, we've seen it grow, we've seen the best and the worst part of it. This episode will be remembered as one of the worst in our sport and that's something I'll never forget.
"I'm not asking for any indulgence, because I don't deserve it. I will totally agree with the punishments required. I'm writing today to say sorry even if it's not enough, because, after all the bad things that happened during this event, the worst has been done by me, a guy who loves this sport and after the worst day of his life will still remember his good racing memories."

Singapore Races to Open Borders, Warning Its Future Is at Stake

(Bloomberg) --
Singapore is exploring ways to safely open its borders after the coronavirus outbreak led to record losses at the nation's flag carrier and decimated traffic at Changi Airport.
A multiministry taskforce is studying how Singapore could let in more travelers and reviewing proposals by stakeholders and the public, Transport Minister Ong Ye Kung said in Parliament on Tuesday. The city-state will accept visitors as long as they agree to testing and tracing, he said.
"The message we want to send to the world is this – Singapore has started to re-open its borders," Ong said. "What is at stake is not just hundreds of thousands of jobs, but our status as an air hub, Singapore's relevance to the world, See: diagnostic scanner. our economic survival, and in turn, the ability to determine our own future."
Singapore has pledged about S$100 billion ($74 billion) in stimulus measures to fight the effects of the pandemic, including wage subsidies and digital-transformation initiatives. Visitor numbers at Changi, once Asia's third-busiest airport for international flights, has slumped to the lowest since it was built in 1981 and it is now handling only 1.5% of pre-Covid passenger traffic.
Among measures to make travel easier, Singapore could replace its 14-day quarantine requirement upon arrival with stricter and repeated testing and close tracking, Ong said.
Changi, which currently has the capability to swab as many as 10,000 passengers a day, will add a dedicated testing laboratory in the next few months, he said.
Singapore has eased border restrictions for those traveling from New Zealand and Brunei, testing such passengers at the airport but allowing them to forgo quarantine. Travelers from Australia and Vietnam will be allowed similar access starting Thursday. Singapore has also agreed with China, South Korea, Japan and other countries to allow visitors for business and official purposes.

Here's How Ford Torture Tested the F-150 Hybrid to Make Sure It Doesn't Blow This Shot

Traditionalists and skeptics are often one and the same, and that's especially true of pickup truck fans. Plenty of folks never thought a turbocharged V6 could do the work of a V8-powered brute but as Ford has proved with its EcoBoost engines, there's loads of potential in forced induction. The same can be said for those who boo at the mention of a hybrid truck like the 2021 F-150 PowerBoost, though Ford went through plenty of trouble to make sure it's just as durable as a traditional half-ton. Maybe even more trouble.
The F-150, like any truck worth its salt, is tantalized and tortured in all types of scenarios for the sake of endurance. You've heard and seen it before where they drive a bone-stock truck through the desert or tow a load up a crazy steep mountain pass. Sure, trucks are infinitely more complex than they used to be, but they're usually better because of practices like these.
Ford's all-new PowerBoost hybrid drivetrain is no exception. There are some inherent worries when it comes to adding newfangled tech like a battery pack, mainly concerning longevity and resistance to the elements such as dirt, See: Bluetooth scan tool. mud and water. To make sure the truck was built to its standards, Ford threw everything at it, and wouldn't you know it, the PowerBoost held up.
Off-roading in Southern California's Anza-Borrego Desert is hard on any rig. There are rocks, sand and triple-digit temperatures to point out a truck's weaknesses, though the F-150 PowerBoost performed just as well as normal gas-powered vehicles. As it seems, the battery-pack and Pro Power Onboard generator are mounted high enough that they don't compromise ground clearance. They're also airtight so they don't allow water in-always a plus.
PowerBoost test trucks then ran at Ford's Michigan proving grounds, which were purpose-built to abuse and break weak links during truck development. They maxed out the hybrid F-150's payload rating by throwing 2,120 pounds in the bed and then ran it over miles of speed bumps and potholes, supposedly equaling 10 years of abuse in just a few months.
To ensure the 1.5-kilowatt-hour battery and all its supporting components could withstand the real-world, Ford sent it off to a testing facility in New York that makes use of a special simulation rig. The device shakes, rumbles and tumbles to mimic road events over the course of a gas F-150's life, all in just 82 hours. Keep in mind, this battery is not only tasked with powering the PowerBoost's 35-kilowatt electric motor but also the Pro Power Onboard generator system, which comes standard in 2.4-kilowatt form and can be optioned up to 7.2 kilowatts. That's enough to power a construction crew...or a mobile restaurant.
Finally, none of this would matter if the truck couldn't tow. The PowerBoost's 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque give it the oomph to haul around 12,700 pounds when properly spec'd, so that's what Ford did. The crew maxed out a PowerBoost test mule's towing capacity and hauled it around Davis Dam, located in the Mojave Desert, time and again. This route spans 11.4 miles and over 3,500 feet of elevation change with an average of six percent grade, all in the dry, high heat. All of the systems were stressed during these runs, especially the cooling, suspension and powertrain.
It's impossible to tell until we drive it ourselves, but the F-150 PowerBoost looks as tough as any other workhorse. What's more, it's simultaneously paving the way for a totally electric F-150, which Ford promises will be even better.

Over 600 students, staff sent for COVID tests after Kedah’s Azman Nasrudin returns from Sabah

Authorities shut down a school and sent its hundreds of students and staff for COVID-19 tests yesterday after a teacher and husband, who happened to be Kedah State Executive Councillor Azman Nasrudin, contracted the virus following their Sabah elections trip.
The couple tested positive yesterday, days after returning from Sabah on Sunday, and are being isolated at the Sultan Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar, according to Kedah State Legislative Assembly Speaker Juhari Bulat. The Permatang Janggus primary school where the wife teaches was yesterday ordered to close for eight days and send its more than 600 students and employees for COVID-19 tests and isolate at home until they are proven to be healthy.
Azman, who used to be a member of Anwar Ibrahim's People Justice Party, was in Sabah to campaign for the state polls. He oversees Kedah state's agriculture and food industry, transportation, and Indian community affairs. His wife's name is not publicly available.
News of their COVID infection comes as Malaysia's ministers become the target of widespread criticism for holding a state election in the middle of a pandemic, causing a surge of new cases and four Sabah districts to be locked down.
Citizens returning to East Malaysia from the state polls in Sabah are encouraged – but not forced – to undergo two-week home quarantine or isolate until their swab tests come back negative. Five ministers, including Foreign Affairs Minister Hishammuddin Hussein and Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, are under isolation while dozens of others are not.

Thrashing Canoo’s Bare EV Skateboard Platform Around the Desert Looks like a Hoot

You might have heard of Canoo by now, the EV startup building the pod-like subscription vehicles meant to revolutionize the way we think of transportation. Buzzwords aside, the company is building something quite different out of a modular platform that many new electric automakers are beginning to utilize: the skateboard. And as Canoo demonstrates in its latest promotional video, the skateboard isn't only versatile, AD: Bluetooth scan tool. but it can be damn fun to drive.
At first glance, you'll notice that this thing doesn't look like the square vehicles that Canoo has shown off to the world. What you're actually seeing is the stripped-down version of the vehicle's underpinnings packaged into a single drivable unit that is modular enough to house all of Canoo's future offerings.
Canoo's goal of this little project is to show that despite the utilitarian nature of its vehicles, they're anything but an appliance under the skin. And when you put extreme racing driver Sara Price behind the wheel, they can even become hoonable. Meet the skatekart.
The retro-futuristic racer look is awesome-white-knuckled driving in a racing seat strapped to a tiny roll bar with only a steering wheel and pedals to compliment it. Underneath the driver sits the vehicle's two electric motors which provide instantaneous torque to all four wheels. Canoo says the platform itself is capable of 500 rear-biased horsepower and 300 miles of range, and as Price demonstrates, that translates into a hell of a lot of fun when unleashed.
"I was blown away by how fun it was to drive," said Price after piloting the so-called skatekart. "The overall performance was impressive. The skateboard felt powerful, with smooth and dynamic handling, especially during high-speed cornering. The drive-by-wire steering was something new for me and it felt like it was built for the track."
Sadly Price's experience will be unique and you shouldn't expect a Canoo-branded race car any time soon. The idea here is to showcase that Canoo's offerings can be as modular as possible thanks to the skateboard design. Since there are no mechanical links between the car's steering or power modulations, the vehicle controls can be moved and mounted anywhere on the platform. To prove its point, the startup literally mounted the vehicle controls to the chassis and sent it.
The skateboard architecture is nothing particularly new for electric automakers; however, Canoo takes it a step further and has committed to keeping the platform common across its entire lineup. This essentially means that the automaker can choose whatever body and features it wants independent of the actual powertrain, enabling rapid new vehicle development in as little as 18 months. Canoo says that its approach to modularity allows it to meet the needs of around 75 percent of all passenger and light duty commercial vehicles on the road today.
Canoo anticipates launching its first customer vehicle-simply called the Canoo-in 2022 with subscription-based deliveries beginning that year. The automaker says that by the following year, it will launch a series of delivery vehicles, followed by a "sport vehicle" offering shortly after. Needless to say, if it can be even half as fun as the skateboard looks, we're all for it.

Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Project One Edition Spotted On Video

Mercedes customers who purchased an AMG Project One hypercar in September of 2017 were probably itching to get behind the wheel. Tasked with providing an F1 car for the people, the German automaker said they'd have the car ready by late 2018. It's now 2020, but YouTuber and car enthusiast Rana 65556 takes us through the special edition of the AMG GT Black Series, built to appease Project One customers.
To keep those 275 people eagerly expecting a hypercar from knocking on the door at the brand's F1 headquarters and pestering team boss Toto Wolff, we had big expectations for the special version of the already rapid Black Series vehicle.
After receiving private transportation to the Mercedes-AMG Factory in Affalterbach, Germany, Rana went to see the special vehicle in the flesh. Following a brief lunch at the dealership – it's clear we need to have a rethink of the car buying experience here in the states – we get a look at the stopgap special. Sure, it doesn't compare to the secret Bond lair that McLaren Speedtail customers are invited to, but it still appears that the German automaker is making an effort.
Things are a bit different when it comes to the car itself. Priced at an additional $57,300 (€50, maxisys elite
. 000) over the standard car, we expected an even crazier collection of numbers – spoiler alert: the result was anything but. Apart from some Petronas teal stitching on the interior and F1 inspired paintwork on the exterior, the differences between the Black Series and Project One special aren't all that momentous.
We thought Mercedes was being a bit thick here, but maybe it really is impossible to improve on perfection. The standard package already produces 720 horsepower (536 kilowatts) thanks to its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine. Aside from its aggro powerplant, the aerodynamic package on the road car appears inseparable from the GT4 racing version. With the AMG Project One's price tag of $2.65 million (€2.27 million), we doubt customers will put up much of a tiff.
Regardless of the German automaker's continued attempts to subdue customers, it's still 2020 and the Mercedes Formula 1 team is busy dominating this year's abbreviated season. With the trajectory these times have taken, it's uncertain when the AMG hypercar project will see the light of day.

Honda Will Quit Formula 1 After 2021 | The Drive

In its most recent run, Honda has served as a Formula 1 engine supplier since 2005. Now, citing the enormous costs and its need to direct its investments towards electrification and fuel cell technology, Honda has announced that at the end of the 2021 season, it's leaving the series once again. Currently, See: Autel Diagnostic Tool. it's Red Bull Racing and its sister team AlphaTauri using Honda's power units, with the former having only switched to them since last year. Now, both teams claim that they will remain committed to Formula 1 beyond 2021, regardless of Honda's withdrawal.
As an engine manufacturer, Honda has won six constructors' championships and five drivers' trophies, yet if you're not familiar with its involvement in Formula 1 between 1999 and 2008, I highly recommend The Race channel's video on the subject, which perfectly explains how Honda's massive investment led to the first winning Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton.
Between 2015 and 2017, Honda got a bad reputation out of being McLaren's engine partner, only to continue as Torro Rosso's when McLaren switched to Renault power in 2018. Starting from next season, McLaren will once again use Mercedes' power units.
Red Bull ended its 12-year relationship with Renault when it signed a two-year engine deal with Honda for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Now, Honda will extend that contract by one year before shuttering the whole operation. As Motorsport reports, here's what Honda had to say about the decision:
"Honda needs to funnel its corporate resources in research and development into the areas of future power unit and energy technologies, including fuel cell vehicle (FCV) and battery EV (BEV) technologies, which will be the core of carbon-free technologies."
So far in 2020, Honda-engined entries have scored two victories. First, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen at the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix at Silverstone, and then with AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly at the Italian Grand Prix. Seven races before the end, this leaves Red Bull Racing-Honda at second place behind Mercedes in the constructors' championship.
Former racer and current F1 commentator ace Martin Brundle had this to say about Honda's move:
Red Bull Racing's and AlphaTauri's engine plans beyond 2021 remain an open question for now, yet both teams are ready to sign the new Concorde Agreement, committing them to the long-term future of motorsport's top series.

ShopBack, Razer, Grab Have Faced Data Breaches – How Can S’pore Step Up Cybersecurity?

Startups grow and expand their operations, fuelled by investor funding and government support.
However, as they scale up, more consumer data gets processed by them and cybersecurity issues creep in.
In recent months, several companies in Singapore, such as ShopBack and RedDoorz, have been the recent target of data breaches.
For online cashback platform ShopBack, the team was alerted to "unauthorised access" of its systems containing customers' personal data "a few days ago" and initiated an investigation.
In an email to its customers on Friday (25 Sep), maxisys elite
. ShopBack said it was still confirming what data had been compromised.
ShopBack also mentioned that they do not store customers' credit card numbers and that CVV and account passwords are encrypted, but suggested that users change them as an "added precautionary measure".
Other than ShopBack, hospitality startup RedDoorz also acknowledged on Saturday (26 Sep) that one of its IT databases suffered a breach earlier this week.
In a statement, it assured that "for now", no sensitive data pertaining to financial information such as customer credit cards or passwords, was compromised "to the best of its knowledge".
For Grab, a 2019 update put the data of some 21,541 GrabHitch drivers and passengers at risk of unauthorised access in what was their fourth breach of data privacy regulations over a course of two years.
On the other hand, earlier this month, the data of 100,000 Razer customers around the world too had been at risk of being accessed by the public due to a misconfigured server.
The data breach was discovered by cyber-security consultant Volodymyr Diachenko who said the server was misconfigured for public access since 18 August. He immediately notified the company via their support channel.
However, his message was processed by non-technical support managers for more than three weeks until the data was secured from public access.
Razer has not confirmed the number of customers affected nor officially released an explanation on it.
This spate of data breaches raises the question: are we not prioritising cybersecurity enough?
According to a Cyber Security Agency survey, more than a quarter of Singapore's residents suffered at least one cybersecurity lapse in the past year.
The most common cyber incidents encountered include unauthorised attempts to access online accounts (14 per cent), and the usage of online accounts to contact others without consent (10 per cent).
Other types of cyber incidents involve changing the settings of their computers without consent (9 per cent) and having their personal data stolen as a result of a cyber incident (8 per cent).
As phishing remained a popular way for cyber attackers to target victims, the 2019 survey also included a new section to study respondents' understanding of phishing.
Phishing is a technique that hackers use to con you into providing your personal information or account data. Phishing emails and text messages may look like they are from a company you know or trust.
Although 66 per cent of respondents knew what phishing was, only 4 per cent could identify all the phishing emails correctly.
The survey also found out that the proportion of respondents who installed security applications in their mobile devices saw only a slight increase from 45 per cent in 2018 to 47 per cent in 2019.
This is despite 85 per cent of them indicating they understood the risks of not having these security apps, and 64 per cent saying they knew how to use them.
There are a couple of ways to check if your personal information has been compromised.
For one, if you are using the Google Chrome web browser, you can use the Passwords feature to check if any of your passwords has been compromised.
Under Settings, go to Passwords. Under Passwords, go to Check Passwords. A list of saved passwords on your browser will show up. If your password has been compromised, it will show. Otherwise, you are all good.
Another way is to run a free data breach report from F-Secure Identity Theft Checker by cyber security company F-Secure.
When you enter your email...

Sen. Ted Cruz compares presidential debate to Detroit Pistons Bad Boys

Tuesday's presidential debate certainly was something, eh?
After the first of three scheduled square offs between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, political pundits were searching for the right words to describe what they saw and heard.
[ Was there a winner between Biden and Trump in 'bar fight' of a debate? ]
The one comparison that stuck out the most to us was by Sen. Ted Cruz for Fox News' "postgame show."
"I thought it was a raucous debate," Cruz said. "It kind of reminded me of Detroit Pistons basketball in the 90s, where there were a lot of hard fouls and a lot of missed shots. But at the end of the day, I doubt the debate changed the election in any fundamental way."
And, since 'tis the season for fact-checking, a few "well actuallys," if you would allow us.
The "Bad Boys" culminated with the 1988-89 team that won the franchise's first NBA title. On the day of the team's parade and celebration at the Palace, Rick Mahorn was selected in the expansion draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Upon the visit to the White House, Isiah Thomas declared the "Bad Boys" run to be over, though the team's perception of hard-nosed defense/dirty play (depending on what side you rooted for - hmm, sound familiar?) didn't go away.

The Pistons did go back-to-back by winning the 1990 title. That season, they were 10th in the league in personal fouls per game (23.9), two fouls behind Miami, tops in the NBA that year.
And about this "not a lot of baskets" business: the Pistons were first in the NBA in allowing just 98.3 points per game, and they were 19th in the 27-team league by scoring 104.3.
So, Cruz maybe had a point there.
